Icando is committed to empowering people and to the protection of our environment through environmental and waste management training and consulting. We place special emphasis on skills development to create sustainable livelihoods.

We specialise in providing up-to-date, quality training in environmental and waste management. Our courses are interactive, practical and learner-centred, and our trainers are highly-qualified with over 20 years of experience in the field.  We are fully accredited as a training provider with the Local Government SETA for qualifications in Environmental Practice NQF levels 1, 2, 3 & 4.

We also offer a range of environmental and waste management services, which include EIAs, public participation processes and environmental auditing.

Our head office is just outside Durban, KwaZulu Natal, but we also have offices in both Gauteng and the Western Cape.  We have been involved in projects in many developing countries other than South Africa, including Swaziland, Lesotho, Botswana, Tanzania, Yemen and the Philippines.
